Hi there! I’m Andrea Middleton, otherwise known as the Wine Scamp. In past lives, I’ve worked as an English teacher in Mexico City, a canvasser for Greenpeace in Cincinnati, and a wine sales rep in the US Virgin Islands; currently I’m a community organizer for WordPress. I’m a Certified Specialist of Wine through the Society of Wine Educators, and I taught a wine class for 3 years. When I’m not parenting my two kids and working for Automattic, I enjoy reading about, thinking on, and tasting wine. I also enjoy cooking, Scrabble, knitting, reading sci-fi/fantasy, and camping. I finally moved back to Portland, Oregon about three years ago, and I couldn’t be happier.
